Roadside Emergency Kit: Do you have one?

Having a roadside emergency kit in your car is a smart way to be ready for surprises.

Whether it’s a flat tire, a dead battery, or bad weather, the right supplies can make a big difference.

Start with basics like a flashlight, extra batteries, and jumper cables. A flashlight helps you see at night, and jumper cables can restart your car if the battery dies.

Pack items for safety and comfort. Include a first aid kit, blankets, gloves, and hats to stay warm if you’re stuck in the cold. Snacks that don’t spoil and water bottles are good to have if help takes time to arrive.

Bring tools for your car, such as a tire pressure gauge, a multi-tool, and a portable air pump. These help fix small problems without waiting for help. Road flares or reflective triangles make your car easier to see and keep you safer if you stop on the side of the road.

Being ready doesn’t take much effort, but it can save you trouble when something goes wrong. If you need advice or help putting a kit together, call us at 972-625-1836. At David’s Automotive Repair, we’re here to help you stay safe on the road!
